The average CenterPoint electric bill for a monthly usage of 908 kilowatt hours (kWh) as of October 27, 2022, is $157.21. This includes a monthly fixed charge of $10.84, a charge per kWh (flat rate) of $0.090260, a fuel charge per kWh of $0.038320, and a variable production charge of $0.004680.

The price per kWh with the fixed charge included is $0.17313, while the price per kWh without the fixed charge is $0.15569. This information is based on CenterPoint’s current approved electric tariffs, which can be found on their website.
