Amigo Energy Price Per Kwh
Amigo Energy offers various electricity plans to customers in the Oncor service area with different rates and plan lengths. The price per kWh (kilowatt-hour) varies depending on the plan that you choose.
The top three Amigo Energy plans and their corresponding rates per kWh are as follows:
- Amigo Energy – Truly Fixed Price: This plan has a fixed rate for 36 months at $0.145 per kWh.
- Amigo Energy – Online Only: This plan has a fixed rate for 24 months at $0.149 per kWh. This plan is available to customers who enroll online.
- Amigo Energy – Amigo Energy Purely Green: This plan has a fixed rate for 12 months at $0.159 per kWh. This plan offers 100% renewable energy, which means that the electricity is sourced from renewable sources such as wind and solar.

Pay Online with My Amigo Portal
With the My Amigo Portal, you can easily register your account to view your bills, check your historical usage, make payments, set up autopay and Ebill, and so much more. The portal allows you to manage your account easily, all from the comfort of your own home or office.
BillMatrix Quick Pay
You will be charged a convenience fee of $2.49. This fee is assessed by BillMatrix as a convenience to process your payment securely as an on-demand payment. Amigo Energy has no share in the Convenience Fee assessed by BillMatrix.
Pay as a Guest
If you don’t have time to register, you can still pay your bill quickly using your preferred payment method as a guest. No registration needed, just enter your payment details and you’re done.
Pay By Phone
If you prefer to pay your bill over the phone, you can use the Pronto Pay automated system. It is available 24/7 and accepts payments using your credit card (American Express, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover) or bank account information. How to Lower Your Amigo Energy Bill
Amigo Energy offers flexible energy plans to help Texans save money on their electricity bills. With same-day, hassle-free switching and excellent customer service, Amigo Energy stands out from other energy providers.
To save on energy costs, try adjusting your thermostat 7-10 degrees Fahrenheit for eight hours a day during the summer and set it to 68 degrees Fahrenheit during the winter. Additionally, use energy-star rated dishwashers and washing machines to save on water and energy costs.
Amigo Energy’s Nights Free tariff provides free electricity for up to 70 hours a week, allowing you to run your dishwasher and washing machine during those hours, saving you money while you sleep.
